The Lampard Inquiry is an independent statutory investigation established to examine the deaths of mental health inpatients in Essex, England, between 2000 and 2023. Chaired by Baroness Kate Lampard CBE, the Inquiry seeks to understand the circumstances surrounding these deaths and to provide recommendations aimed at preventing similar tragedies in the future.

Beginning in 2024, Hestia has offered emotional support to participants involved in the Lampard Inquiry, recognising the potential distress associated with sharing traumatic and sensitive experiences.
