The Everyone’s Business Awards recognise organisations that show sustained, strategic leadership in addressing domestic abuse. Award winners must:

  • Demonstrate a clear commitment to supporting employees affected by domestic abuse and tackling domestic abuse internally.

  • Instigate, lead and promote initiatives that tackle domestic abuse within society as a whole.

The Awards are a best-practice kitemark, awarded by Hestia, in partnership with the Employer’s Initiative on Domestic Abuse (EIDA).

“The Everyone’s Business Awards celebrate organisations that show outstanding leadership in supporting employees affected by domestic abuse, and a steadfast commitment to driving meaningful change. They set the benchmark for workplaces where people feel genuinely safe, heard and believed” - Alessia Bianco, Head of Everyone’s Business, Hestia

Foundation and Platinum Awards

Everyone’s Business Awards are open to all employers (businesses, charities, government agencies) in the UK.

We have two awards. The Foundation Award recognises organisational change, while the Platinum Award focusses on wider societal change.

Platinum award winners must demonstrate how they drive change both within their organisation and wider society.

Why apply?

Domestic abuse doesn’t just stay at home, it impacts the workplace too. Employers have a powerful opportunity to provide safety, support and understanding.

By applying for the Everyone’s Business Award, your organisation can:

  • Demonstrate leadership in staff wellbeing and social responsibility

  • Join a community of award-winning employers who are driving positive change across the UK

  • Inspire other organisations to follow your lead

Independent Assessment

All applications to the Everyone’s Business Awards are assessed by an independent panel of business and sector leaders, and survivors. The panel carefully considers each submission against the award deliverables, recognising organisations that are not only meeting best practice but also demonstrating genuine commitment and innovation.
