If you’re experiencing domestic abuse, it can feel overwhelming, isolating, and hard to know where to turn. That’s why we created Safe Spaces.

In partnership with pharmacies and banks across the UK, Safe Spaces offer private rooms where you can take a moment for yourself, reach out for support, or explore your options safely and discreetly.

You can use a Safe Space in whatever way feels right for you - whether that’s contacting a loved one, speaking to a specialist service, or simply having a quiet place to pause and think.

Safe Spaces are now available in over 4,400 pharmacies and banks across the country, and the network continues to grow.

How to use a Safe Space

  1. Walk into any participating bank or pharmacy
  2. Ask a member of staff if you can use their Safe Space
  3. You’ll be shown to a private room where you can take the time you need

Inside, you’ll find a safe and confidential place where you can:

  • Reach out to friends or family
  • Contact specialist support services
  • Begin your journey to safety and recovery
