Domestic abuse We offer a variety of domestic abuse services in Wandsworth: Our domestic abuse refuges offer safe accommodation and support for both single women and women with children that are at risk from domestic abuse. Our specialist refuge for women with additional needs provides 24/7 support, and additional expertise around issues including mental health and substance use. Our floating support service provides support in the community for people experiencing domestic abuse. Our Drug and Alcohol Floating Support service supports adults (aged 18-65) who have been identified as having an issue with drugs and/or alcohol, and assists them to maintain their accommodation. Our Mental Health Rehabilitation and Recovery service provides accommodation-based health and social care support. Criminal justice The Approved Premises Housing and Support service provides accommodation-based support for men leaving custody. It focuses on recovery, rehabilitation, and preventing re-offending. Older people We offer a multi-dimensional approach to supporting older people in Wandsworth: Our Age Activity Centre is a drop-in centre for adults over 60, and runs fun, social activities and day trips to promote a sense of community. Our Age Well service supports older people aged 55 and over, and provides activities to help them stay healthy, active, and social. Employment support Our Developing Futures programme, delivered through Twining-Hestia, supports young adults (aged 18-24) from ethnically diverse communities looking for personalised and realistic advice on how to achieve their life goals. Modern slavery response Our modern slavery service started in 2011 and we have supported more than 7,000 survivors since then. We provide seven safe houses in London and Kent, as well as a pan-London outreach service working in every London borough. Need help in an emergency?
