Volunteer Genuine Award 2025

This award honours volunteers who are genuine, listen, and support others. 

Congratulations to our shortlisted volunteers: Bi Sun, Carlo, Nathalie El-Korashy, Sandra, Kamila. 

The Genuine Award winner is Nathalie El-Korashy.

For the last four and a half years, Nathalie has been delivering a Free Family Law Helpline for Hestia service users, staff, and volunteers, offering vital support on a range of family law matters. She receives approximately 150 calls each year, providing much-needed clarity and confidence during difficult times. 

Nathalie’s commitment to helping others has made a profound difference to countless lives. One person she supported shared: “I got in touch with Hestia, as I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I didn’t know what else to do. I don’t have enough words to say thank you, but you have made a massive difference in my life. I have come from focusing on living one more day to now being able to stand up on my feet”. 

Nathalie joined us for our International Women’s Day event in March, where she demonstrated her empathy and dedication to supporting others. She is a compassionate and dedicated person, always willing to lend a helping hand.
