Almost 50% of millenials grew up with domestic abuse. Of this group, almost 60% experienced depression, anxiety or PTSD in adulthood.

Every day Hestia supports up to 200 children affected by domestic abuse. Many arrive at our refuges extremely withdrawn or exhibiting difficult or aggressive behaviour, with some children as young as eight showing signs of PTSD.

Unfortunately, waiting lists for vital specialist support are often 6-9 months for extremely vulnerable children due to high demand.

Your support, and your doubled donations, will help us to pay for therapeutic support for these children, and remove the common nine month waiting list.

£20 become £40, and give 4 children the opportunity to access a group art therapy session

£50 become £100, and provide an hour of face-to-face support for a child with suicidal ideation

£125 become £250, which could provide a month of weekly face-toface sessions for a suicidal child

£400 become £800, which could provide three months of specialist mental health support.
