Our trainings are designed to provide your staff with an in-depth understanding of the scale and nature of Modern Slavery in the UK to confidently recognise and report exploitation. Through real life case studies from our frontline work, discussions and interactive tasks, attendees will gain the skills they need to support survivors and get them specialist help through the UK’s National Referral Mechanism (NRM).

What types of training do we offer?

Bronze 90 minutes online. An overview of Modern Slavery in the UK, including different forms, identification, and what to do if you suspect someone is being exploited. Essential CPD training designed for everyone to get to grips with the basics. Ideal for volunteers or staff who are new to the topic. £55 per person

Silver Half Day awareness course delivered in person or online. This course provides an overview of Modern Slavery current trends in the UK, it’s different forms and how to identify exploitation. Attendees gain an understanding of the support needs of survivors and what makes people vulnerable to exploitation to begin with. This course provides an overview into the UK's support system The National Referral Mechanism. CPD certified training for staff who are working with vulnerable adults and on the frontline. £75 per person

Gold Full day course delivered in person. Following on from our half day training, this course provides an extensive guide to the UK's current support systems structure, the National Referral Mechanism with case studies from our service users. How to talk to potential victims to ensure a trauma informed approach. We look at what the barriers to disclosure are for survivors and how they are controlled by exploiters, the impact of the latest legislation, such as the Illegal Migration Act 2023. This course can also be delivered with a focus on the homelessness sector. Our comprehensive CPD accredited training for frontline staff who are working with vulnerable adults in need of complex support. This training includes in depth information on support provisions available to survivors through the National Referral Mechanism £120 per person

If you work for a charity whose turnover is below 1m or a front line organisation such as the NHS or local authority, we offer a 20% discount on our half day (Silver) training and a 25% discount on our full day (Gold) package.
