Meet the artist of: 'Sailing through life' Hestia1970 · Sailing through life by PA "I first got into the art when I was a child, especially at my primary high school. That time I liked to do painting, especially I used oil paint and something like that. And slowly, slowly, I feel like, oh, art is one thing that I really love to do. Especially whenever I feel like show my emotion, feelings, whenever I feel sad, I like to do something in my painting. Always, it's related with my life, my personality, my dream. Actually, art is, I think everything for me. For my lonely life, I feel like whenever I hold any acrylic paint or something, any canvas, I feel like actually it releases my stress. So, I think everyone should do painting whenever they're free, whenever they're in stress. It's really, I think, mental health therapy. One of my pieces is Sailing through my Life. It's the boat and red sail and water, sky. It represents me as endless possibility. And I really like the sound of the water, especially it makes me quite relaxed. It's especially related to my childhood. It's really traditional in Bangladesh, especially the red sail, it’s actually used especially when it was windy. So, it's really the tradition in our country; I really like our traditional culture. I really do like painting. So of course I want to do something in future on painting. Maybe I want to become maybe a professional artist. I'm not sure, but maybe one day I can, but I'm trying to do more, increase my skill level. I'm trying to practice more and more, maybe one day I will do it more better." Manage Cookie Preferences
