Before I met Hestia, I used to think, ‘should I just maybe end everything?’ I’m tired. I always used to tell people that I was tired. And I was just living a miserable life. I didn’t even know I can get support like this.

Somebody came from Hestia and that was how my life changed. It was when I met my support worker. I told her I would have loved to go to college. We went to the college and I started.

There’s a lot of activities that wouldn’t have been possible for me. Meeting with other people, you know, all these are possible through Hestia.

A lot of things have changed since I first came to Hestia. I don’t smile like this before, you know, my face wasn’t this bright. I’ll be looking down like shying away. You know, I have a great confidence now and I’m hopeful. And so my hope for the future will be to finish studying, start working, and give back to my community.
