The Inner Wheel is proud to stand with Hestia in support of women and children across London and the South East who are rebuilding their lives after domestic abuse.

Every year, Hestia supports more than 4,000 women and children to recover from trauma and move towards a life beyond crisis. Through 25 refuges across 11 London boroughs, as well as vital community-based services, Hestia offers not just safety, but the chance to heal and thrive. Their dedicated teams work with women and children to restore confidence, rebuild independence, and create lasting change.

Beyond emergency support, Hestia leads national initiatives that make it easier for survivors to find help. These include the Bright Sky app, which guides people concerned about someone they know; Safe Spaces, discreet locations in pharmacies and banks for anyone needing a safe place to seek help; and the Everyone’s Business programme, which equips employers to support staff experiencing abuse.

This November, as part of the UN’s Orange the World campaign and the 16 Days of Activism, Inner Wheel members across London are walking to raise awareness and funds for Hestia’s work. Together, we believe awareness must lead to action — action that helps survivors find safety, rebuild confidence, and create brighter futures.

Please support our fundraising and help Hestia continue their life-changing work. Every donation helps a woman or child take their next step from fear to freedom.
