Hestia’s community-based domestic abuse support in Croydon Hestia provides support for women in the Croydon community who are facing domestic abuse. This is sometimes called ‘floating support’ because it’s not tied to a specific accommodation. The service is safe, confidential, sensitive and non-judgemental. Support can include: Safety planning Assessment of your needs and creating a support plan Access to health services Support with claiming benefits and budgeting Getting appropriate legal support and advice/information Immigration issues Interpreters and translators Support clients with child-related issues such as school, health and social services Group and one-to-one sessions Access to educational and training courses Access to employment and volunteering work Assisting with the process of housing and move on Resettlement skills, such as paying bills, shopping and dealing with debt Signposting to other agencies that can provide extra support Referrals If you think you might benefit from this support, please contact us on the details below.
