Discover Art is Freedom 2025: a Hestia exhibition by survivors of modern slavery 23 September 2025 📅 6 – 27 October 2025 | Across Central London This October, Hestia’s annual Art is Freedom exhibition returns to London, showcasing artwork and photography created by survivors of modern slavery. The theme selected by survivor-artists for this year is Seen and Heard – a powerful reminder that art can create space for voices and experiences that too often go unnoticed. Where to see Art is Freedom · Aldgate Square | 6-13 October · Lyric Square | 6-13 October · London Bridge station | 6-20 October · Trafalgar Square | 13-27 October · New Change Gardens | 13-27 October Through a series of workshops with professional artists, survivors have produced moving and thought-provoking pieces that reflect their journeys and perspectives. Curated by a panel of survivors and the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner, the exhibition highlights both the ongoing reality of modern slavery in the UK and the strength, resilience, and creativity of those who have experienced it. We need your help By visiting, you’ll be supporting survivor-artists and helping to raise awareness of an issue that is too often hidden in plain sight. With thanks to Ashurst and We Soda for their support of the Art is Freedom campaign. Westminster City Council, Network Rail, Hammersmith and Fulham Council, Aldgate Connect BID and Cheapside BID for hosting the exhibition.
