Hestia's Big Give Summer Challenge is here! Donate to create a summer of fun for families in our refuges – and have your gift doubled This summer, you can bring joy, healing, and hope to children staying in Hestia’s domestic abuse refuges across London. Donate now Hestia is taking part in the Big Give Summer Challenge to raise vital funds to provide fun activities, creative workshops, and trips for children in our refuges throughout the summer holidays. From 3 - 17 June, every penny you donate to our Big Give Summer Challenge will be doubled, thanks to match funding from The Childhood Trust. That means your generosity goes twice as far: £10 becomes £20, your £50 becomes £100, and your £100 becomes £200. Together, we can make sure that every child in our refuges can experience a summer filled with laughter and discovery – and the chance to make happy new memories. What is Hestia raising money for? When mothers and children arrive on the doorsteps of our refuges, their journeys to recovery are only just beginning. We have a precious window of opportunity to help them – and we need your help to realise it. A gift of £134 can provide a summer of fun and therapeutic experiences for a child beginning their recovery from domestic abuse. Your donation could help to fund: A trip to the seaside – so children can run in the sand, and paddle in the sea A visit to a museum or an art gallery – to inspire their imagination and support learning Active days out – scaling a climbing wall, trampolining, or trying a dance class We know these experiences are vital steps towards healing and rediscovering childhood. “I went on a water ride with my son...
